Tyre Coupling

A tire coupling, also known as a tyre coupling, is a type of flexible coupling used to connect two rotating shafts in machinery or equipment. It is called a “tire” coupling because it typically includes an elastomeric tire-like element that connects the two coupling halves. The primary purpose of a tire coupling is to transmit power and torque from one shaft to another while accommodating misalignments and dampening vibrations and shock loads.
